To have friends, we must be friendly ourselves. To begin any friendship, someone must break the ice and try to connect. Yet with so many selfish people looking to take advantage of others, it is no wonder some don't want to risk a potential confrontation. The key to unlocking the door to someone's protective shield might be as simple as a smile, a kind word or a willingness to offer a helping hand.
Consider those who believe they should always agree with friends whether the friends are right or wrong. These people call this being loyal. But in reality, it is misplaced loyalty.
Think about it. Do you want a friend who is loyal to you or loyal to the truth? Compromising the truth isn't loyalty; it's deception—even if it is supposedly done out of kindness. Real friends will be loyal first to the truth and secondarily to us. In following this order, our friends can help us likewise be loyal to the truth.
Mistaken loyalty is one wrong idea regarding friendships. Abandonment is another.
In order to keep from agreeing with a friend who is wrong, some abandon their friends whenever a problem arises. They'd seemingly rather disappear or pretend not to notice than to deal with what is really happening.
At times it may seem the situation is hopeless and that reconciliation is impossible. However, one of the wonderful things about being human is the ability to change our minds when we are shown that our conclusion or position on an issue is not appropriate.
Changing our minds, though, is not an automatic response. We usually think we are right about our decisions, and once our feelings are hurt we tend to think the worst of the other person. Our minds will race to find real or imagined reasons why our feelings of hurt are justified. Therefore changing our minds, at least when conflict is involved, is not the easiest thing to do. We must be willing to admit that our conclusions may not be the correct ones.

ist week of term 3 is ald so tiring..and my class got a rather good teacher for physics,my bad sub.
rushing for work,so many things to do but not enough time:(anyway there's dry shoot tml:)then on fri is the actual shoot:)and also the pl walk-a-jog:)and i've work for every sub:(there's work for np too,to write reflection on atc and practice drills:(/:)
today was simply hilarious:):):)stephanie,esther and i went to compass to have lunch at kfc.then while we are eating stephanie suddenly wanted esther to go over to the other table full of guys from dunno which sch to say that stephanie is interested in one of them.but of cos even a idiot knew that we were joking,we didn't esther to do it!!!SHOCKING RIGHT!!then when esther came back she was so embarrased and kept covering her face.then stephanie wrote a letter and asked esther to pass it to the guys,it was super embarrasing!!they kept laughing and looking at us!!so embarrasing,worse still,we were wearing uniform:(

yay!i'm back from ATC.i'm so exausted.

Day 1
it was rather easy on us,as we did not do much tedious stuff.and having fun mingling around with other unitmates:)

Day 2
the second day is the longest,most tedious,toughest,busiest day.we had to do maze,rock climbing,pioneering,kayaking..and we had to knock it down for almost every activity.and by the end of the activities,everybody were pulling up their eyelids,i tried to control by staring at the light bulb infront of me.and we had campfire,it was rather boring and our cheers were like...the CIs were fed up with us and wanted us to do a 3 page reflection,as the torch was not bright enough,i went to the toilet with my tentmate to do the reflection,while we were happily going back to the tent with our reflection,the CI confiscated the reflection,even the guy's were confiscated too.
and kayaking was disastrous,i wonder why are we moving so slowly when i actually paddle so hard.then i suddenly knew why.the maze was ok,cos we cheated.we were supposed to go in the dark but we shined our torch.

Day 3

there was fire drill.and we had to wake up when the whistle sound,it was around 3.30.it was the last day and we had to unpitch our tent and do area cleaning.and we had to bring home the leftover rationings.we gave each other our contacts,we hope to keep contact till sec3 ATC.HAHAS..

ATC is so fun,if the floor /soil/path did not have so much stones,we wouldn't have felt that bad.anyway miss ubin and groupmates.I LOVE ATC!!

got back maths result it real bad,wonder what will my tuition teacher say if he knows bout' it.Anyway might be getting back chem paper tml,there are 2 failers, pray that it will never be me.never..

9 more days to my long break but sadly i've to come back sch for cca and stuff..but there's nothing for me to lost out cos i've got camps and activities going on and after the hols i'm going to be fitter and stronger than the rest who were dozing off the whole hols.splendid:)

And i heard that if you do not go for cca for the entire year,you can change cca.And i've being trying very hard to do that(trying to change cca not skip cos i still want my points)but no matter how hard i try it is of no use cos the ans is always a NO.I've tried so hard,i did whatever i could,and when i thought there was some hope,you came and dash my hopes.How evil could you get!You gave an ans without even thinking,or maybe even without listening.Anyway i would remember you always,the person who dosen't think b4 she does things and do it without sparing a thought for others and only wanting to make things easier for yourself! i hate you

many events going on lately..

went to Xinghua pri today,had so much of fun then the previous time when we got the pri2,my buddy was so disobedient and just won't read.now we got p5&6,which were better.my buddy was a 15-year-old boy from china,he looks rather naugthy but he wasn't and he was fun and humurous.when i asked for his age he said 15 then when he knew mine,he was like"oh..i'm so old.."then both shuying and i laughed.

then tml it a deadly day for me..its promos!we've been training lately for the promos,hope that i will have confident and have better voice on that day.

methodists walk and church dinner will be on sat..
have not decided on what to wear yet.

geez..came back from pasir ris sunburned ytd..but it was Fun!!we sat under a tree,which didn't seem to be of any use since we were so sunburned.we dug hole in the sand looking for crabs and we got two tiny ones:D..went to white sands and tampanies after that to eat and went home at around 10+
today i woke at 6.30am for sch to take my re-test,i reached the lab and walk in and told the person i was here for the re-test and she said "your name is not here you need not come."grrr..so i waited for shuying till 9 and left together.Continue on Gold!=)

Today is the 3rd day of sch,which is also the last day of the 1st week since sch reopen.Tml i've to go for sec 1 cca fair.. to promote np.But if i were the sec 1's i think i'll choose ccas like photography club or sometime close to that.Cos when i was sec 1 i didn't even bother when i walk passed the np stall,who knows i will end up there.:(I really hate the sch system,cos we have to go to diff classes for diff lessons.I The worse thing is the lockers were not ready to be used yet..grr!I had to ask my friends to help me with my bags,as i had a handful of things..make me so 'paiseh' to ask them to help.Hahas..today's PE was to do chicken dance..everybody was so cute,and the 'balancing clown' and 'electric shock' was so funny.

hmm..belated Merry X'mas!!xD..We celebrated christmas on Christams eve as everybody will be busy on Christmas.But thats fine cos i can enjoy the fun and joy earlier..hahas..Received lotsa presents,my fav is the "jingjing",the toy that peiyi and guan gave me and we played fireworks,ate chocolates and drank wine(though we are underage..xD)till peiyi's face turn all red.I've just finished watching "1 litre of tears",its a great show that gives ppl courage to live on each day..its so touching *sobs*.And i'm currently watching "Hana Kimi",its very entertaining.I'm continuing with my video-hunt.

oh man..,today's another tiring day.I was late for np but thats fine but during the 4 whole hours we were like doing drills,chatting,playing,doing cheers and pumping..hmm actually thats not too bad either cos we got to know how each other was like.During the 4 hours everybodywas like ^^or =(..i was in a zzZ mood,i seem to be complaning too much eh?
Anyway dun wanna talk too much about np.Ohyar,1 last thing about np,the BBQ,think many ppl will be going for it in fact i think everybody is going for it,they all took the forms as though they money..hahas.I didn't take the forms as i won't be going..okay,christmas!!The only thing that makes me excited,i got all the presents already..yays.12 more days to sch..:))

haiz..have mood swings this few day coz of the rain,but i'm much happier todae that the rain had somehow stopped.And i'm going out with Peiyi on Thurs to shop for presents,and you have to know this!i love collecting presents!!Woohoo,how i love Christmas!!We wish you a merry christmas,we wish you a merry christmas and a happy new year...!!:))The thought of christmas just brightens me up.**muacks**.O's are over now,i'm seeing seniors working at shopping malls..hahas.Gotta go to sch on Fri..sad:(..i seem to turn into lazy bones when it comes to sch during holidays.November just flew away like that..so fast i can't catch a little bit of it.Anyway its like that when you are in secondary sch and tougher when you are in uniform groups.:(..cos i'm already so lifeless and i've to go sch and do posters,and get punished i sometimes do feel like i'm breaking down..:(.As you see this post you realised that the sad faces are more than the smilies..:(..This is supposed to be happy:))...but as i wrote more it became sad:((..so i thought i better end it before it becomes worst coz i can't seem to stop..argh

Didn't blog for a few days..got panda eyes from staying up at night to watch TV,..regrets.Went to tuition ytd,it was ok onli 3 hrs not 5 hrs.The teacher is so funny everytime went he teaching i look into his specs it looked like ripples..hahas,his eyesight isn't that well so i have to read to him all the numbers.wAHS..then todae me and guan supposed to bring my grandfather to hospital to get his report,we follow him to the office then we wait for him ask us to go with him.After a long while,we went down to chck on him,then..we found that he was missing,he wnt to the hospital by himself.Me and guan actually wanted to take a cab there to find him in case anything happens to him,but not allowed..=x

*phew*congrats to Snake who juz got married ytd,didn't know that he knew Aunt Irene for 5 long years..thot it was a year ago..xD.And the priest told the love story of snake and Aunt Irene..hahas..the hand-touching Guzheng.Then we were walking in to the church,we were not in order,the rehearsal wasn't of much use..:(After the wedding my leg was sore from all the walking and standing..=x.still rushing over holiday hm wk..sobs

Went for church rehearsal last night,then the few of us were to walk so..slowly one-by-one.

Its like a slow-motion catwalk,then the couple said that we walk like zombies..wahaha.

Then followed by the song,the mass and others,lastly we were to walk out of the church.

After sometime,the keeper has to leave and were just on time to finish rehearsing.

Then we left for supper,i ate too much to name all..hahas.Then after sending ppl home we went to Mustafa,its open for 24-hours.We bought lots of chocolates,ranging from hazelnuts,milk choco,black forest to peppermint choco chips.

Still thinking about the Jinmaodan incident...
